Q: What are the best times of year to sell a boat?
A: In our experience boats can sell at any time, but generally in late winter and early spring buyers tend to come out of hiding to fulfill their dreams. However, many buyers will be looking for boat deals at the end of the boating season in the Northeast, so mid- to late fall is also a good time. We recently sold a boat in January in Maine, so if you want to sell your boat put it on the market as soon as you’re ready!
