Q: How long will it take to sell my boat?
A: There is no set answer to this question. Our personal experience is that it usually takes at least several months to sell a boat. Many used boat dealers and brokers will tell you 3 - 6 months. It of course depends on what kind of condition your boat is in, how well you’ve priced it and what other boats like yours are out there. Take a look at your competition to be sure you are presenting your boat in the most favorable light—make sure you’ve listed all the special features and extras to attract buyers. Equally important, make sure you can be contacted easily and always return those calls or emails promptly.
